Our Roots
Our
Story
Carter's Compost began with an 8-year-old who wanted to help keep his neighborhood green by making composting easy for his neighbors. He achieved this and his vision grew until he and his bucket slingers were collecting all over town, towing trailers with their bicycles.

Future
We believe that keeping our town and surrounding area healthy is vital to our survival in so many ways. This is why we will continue to pedal into the future, returning nutrient-rich compost back into the community soil and reducing Traverse City's carbon impact.
