Carter’s and Oryana’s Ceremonial Compost Turning Celebration


Let’s celebrate TC’s first Neighborhood Compost Station!

Oryana’s East Parking Lot
Saturday October 26, 2013
1:00 – 3:00 PM

– Ribbon cutting
– Kitchen scrap and leave drop-off for Oryana members
– Compost screening and worm wrangling for the kids
– Pile turning
– Dirt Cake served with a trowel with a gummy worm on top
– Hot cider, tea or cocoa to drink

Community Sustained Compost: Growing Neighborhood Compost at our Neighborhood Co-Op using Neighborhood Kitchen Scraps to then grow Neighborhood Food.

We think that’s pretty awesome. Let’s Celebrate!
